I've been plodding through the black on the Steel Rift stuff and I also finished the cockpits as I try to stumble into a color scheme. I hope to finish the maroon next week.

I've had these Bretonnian Squires sitting on my desk since last January and I randomly picked one up this week to try out a color scheme.

I also finished painting another unit of Union infantry. I think my Civil War stuff will be my next big push as I want to run a small game at a local convention in April.

I'm starting something new for 2024 and the Adeptus Ineptus Painting Challenge: Steel Rift. I'm not sold on the rules but the figures are great and completely customizable. I magnetized all the arms and the weapon ports in the Freelance starter this week, now to slog through another 90 of the weapons.

I'm not sure on a color scheme yet. At think point I'm thinking mostly black, with a redish-pink head and left arm/shoulder.
