I finished putting together my SM/TL airforce. The only thing I want to do before I prime the Thunderbolts is fill in the gaps in the cables where the wings meet the fuelselage.

The Marauders also had their underslung Lascannon(?) removed because I thought it looked dumb. These I might try to put another AA gun on the bottom of the fuelselage and figure out how to represent twin Lascannons on it.

This little guy is Coalition Gunship. We talked about playing a few Starmada games in my group again, and I got bored one night and painted him up to see how the scheme would look.

These guys you might remember from two years ago, Warmaster High Elf Seaguard conversions. There's nearly a formation here, I need to get 10 more ready and then work on the command and the hero for them.

Finally, I made some more progress on the Knight bases, namely the ruins. I think I'm going to hit the block recesses with a pin wash, and highlight the gold/bronze one or twice before I call them done. That should happen next week, along with washing and starting in on the silver.

I was going to work on these guys Monday but I forgot my gray for their bellies. I ended up finishing it over the course of the week but I didn't make as much progress as I hoped. With this coming Monday off though I should make some good headway.

I did finish my destroyers Monday night though. They look a little less red and a little more dark merlot/purple in real life but whatever.

I wasn't too happy with the way the TBolts were turning out so they ended up getting stripped last Wednesday. At this point they are re-primed and I've got a few coats on their bellies done but that's it.

I did make some progress with my ships though. My Frigates are all done along with one Destroyer. The other three need to have the black details put in though.

And here's my weekly tangent, a Heavy Cruiser for my next fleet. I scratch built the pylons/engines with plasticard, the glare makes them hard to see though.

and stripped, re-based, primed and base coated a Starmada fleet. Matt and I started playing again after a long hiatus. My old color scheme wasn't doing it for me so I decided to try something new.

I think the highlight color is a little too bright though so I'm going to go 2:1 as opposed to 1:1 with the base:highlight mix. Thoughts?

Not much this week. I started work on some forest terrain for HAVOC (no pictures yet) and painted some spaceships for my cousin as a birthday present. Nothing spectacular but I only had a couple of days to paint them.

They're from ZandrisIV Miniatures and are styled after the Kadesh from Homeworld the PC game.
